A Snapshot of SEEC

Once a month we ask our staff to down tools for a moment and briefly tell you what they are working on at that instant. The idea is to provide a snapshot of the scope and variation of the work we do.  We hope you find it interesting. If your project is similar be sure to call us, we'd be pleased to hear from you.

Mark Passfield

Mark is currently working on a rehabilitation plan for a former quarry earmarked for residential subdivision. The report addresses erosion and sediment control issues, including stormwater conveyance and revegetation.

Andrew Macleod

Andrew is currently working on an assessment of a drainage line - is it a "River" under the act? and, if so, is it a "River" in fluvial geomorphic terms?. The assessment is required to accompany proceedings in the LE court.

Jason Armstrong

Jason is working on civil designs for flumes and drop-down structures for a large copper mine in Western NSW. He is also helping Mark with stormwater structures at a former quarry site.

Cheyne Hudson

Cheyne is currently working on a design for a creek alignment in western Sydney. The work involves designing artificial fluvial features such as pools and riffle zones. The creek is subject to flow in excess of 150 cubic metres per second. He is also working on a Soil and Water Management Plan with Adam.

Alyssa Burnus

Alyssa is working on a flood study for a large industrial subdivision in the Southern Tablelands. The creek has a catchment of about 130 square kilometres.
Adam Urszulak

Adam is working with Cheyne on a Soil and Water Management Plan to accompany an application to build a new road required for a new subdivision.
